~Prague, CZ~
Our final city and country to visit!
And our FAVORITE European city!
Cody and Jim with the St. Nicholas Church
as a photo back drop.
Looking the other direction is the
gate entrance onto the Charles Bridge.
We can never take enough pictures to
appreciate the wonderful sights we see here!
Just a little further down this cobblestone
street from St. Nicholas church.
We did make one stop on this cobblestone street.
I needed to replace some Blue Onion
dish pieces for me and a friend.
Fortunately the store was open and had the pieces!

Here we are just onto Charles Bridge!
Built in 1357.
This bridge has been used for war as well as a means
to cross over the Vltava River for many centuries. It
has also had to be repaired several times due to
wars and weather related issues.

This is a view of the water wheel off the bridge.
We commissioned a painting of this view that we
now have hanging in our Colorado home.
You can just make out St. Nicholas church in the background.
Cody is looking at a view of a scene shot taken in
"Mission Impossible."
Part of Centrum is just behind us across the Vltava River.
Cody's is sure to touch the lucky spots
of the Statues on the Charles Bridge.
There are a total of 30 statues.

Cody is touching the image of St. John Nepomuk so that
he will have good luck. After refusing to reveal the Queen's
confession to St. John the catholic vicor, King Wenceslas
of Bohemia had St. John thrown off the bridge
into the Vltava River in 1393.
A view of the Prague Castle.
This beautiful castle was built around 850 AD.
We are almost to the other end of the Charles Bridge.
A view of the clock tower and Old Town Square.
The Church of Our Lady or Tyn Church
is in the background.
We had a fun hour visiting with our friend Lissy who
was touring Prague with her friend Erika for the weekend.
The Town Hall or the Clock Tower as most call it.
Another of St. Nicholas's church's off
the Old Town Square.
Jim, Coreen, Lissy, Erika
I LOVE all the old buildings on this square!
I'm glad I have miniature replica's of them in my cabinet.
The Castle starting to light up for the night.
One of the three best sights in the city!
Just georgeous!!!
Our second day in Prague we went to the Sunday
meetings to see if we would see some old friends.
We also had a package to drop off for our Elder Engstrom!
It was great to see the Chankovi's and other friends.
We had a fun chat with Jirka, his mom is the one
who has sent us photos from when she runs into
Elder Engstrom on her trips to other branches.
After our meeting we wanted to see a couple more
favorite sights, one was up in the Prague Castle area.
~Red Rooftops~
This is one of the three best views in Prague!
As we walked across Charles Bridge one last time
buglers played their call from one tower to the next.
You can just make out the bugler on the white tower
behind this bugler in the forefront. He is sending his call
to the next tower at the other end of the Charles Bridge.
Giving a wave as he finishes.
A view of the Prague Castle and the Charles Bridge.
"Czech Me Out" t-shirts for me and Cody! Ha!
Another stop on Old Town square.
Lovely flower embellishments on this building.
One last shot of our beautiful Prague Castle!
As we drove out of Prague we stopped
for a peek at our previous Prague home.
The swingset was still there!
Two hours later we stopped and had dinner with
the Gordon-Smith's at their beautiful chalupa.
We want to come back for a longer visit!
Simon, Rostya, Coreen, Jim
This is one of the beautiful views the Gordon-Smith's
enjoy when they stay at their chalupa.
What a wonderful trip we had!
I would do it all over again if I could!
Europe is amazing!!!
