Tea Party Puzzler~

So, Chandra and I hosted a tea party with Grandma,
Kendra and Chelsea.  The party was an excuse to use
my cute, little, pink flowered teacups I collected while
our family lived in the Czech Republic.

While the group sipped warm fruit tea and ate cookies
we worked on this challenging tea cup puzzle.
Well, it did not get finished at our party.
Must have been all the talking and eating we did....

The puzzle was definitely a hard one.
It took a few more days, hours and many hands
to finish putting it together.

I'm ready to do it again! :-)

Settler's with the Kaisers~

The Kaisers wanted to learn how to play their new
"Settler's of Catan" game.  So we had them over
to show them how the Engstrom gang plays.

There was the slow, adult table....

And the exciting, fast table!

Sweet Treats~

Chandra and Tyler gave us a candied apple lesson.
The results were delicious!

"Settler's" with the Deuschles~

We gave the Deuschle's the popular game
"Settlers of Catan."

We then had a game night to teach them
how to play it the Engstrom way!

Denver Temple Family Visit~

Members from the Engstrom, Kaiser and Chandler families
spent an afternoon together in the Denver Temple.

It was a cold but beautiful day!

Ice Skating Party for Engstrom and Kaiser Families~

We had a fun evening ice skating at a cute
outdoor rink with perfect holiday music!

 Can....they.... skate????

 Hmmmmm....

Hope those fingers don't get stuck!

 Hold the pose!

 Go Tyler!  Go!

 There's Kendra.

 Jim's a little slow.

 Cute Chandra!

 That's all Cody got.

 Fun skate night!

 Hold on!

 Gettin longer...

The weakest link breaks.
Happy Holidays!

2011 Christmas With Deuschle's~

Now that our family is back where we should be
for Christmas we can enjoy our missed Christmas
dinner evening with the Deuschle family.

After a very delicious meal, "Cafe Rio," prepared by Chandra
we enjoyed sharing Christmas gifts with one another.
Kammie loved her homemade bread!

"See, look everyone.  Homemade bread just for me not you.

Mark's hoping for a slice or two...

Nothing better than time with great friends!

Even Maggie liked her new toys,
no one was going to take them away!

Goodies from Seiffen, Germany.
Merry Christmas!!!
