Wednesday, December 21, 2011 we happily
found ourselves up in the Colorado mountains
staying in a condo ready to enjoy skiing and
all kinds of other fun activities.
Jim was great and dropped us off at the Breckenridge
ski slopes to ski for a couple hours while he unloaded
all the supplies we needed for the week at our condo.
We came home and settled in waiting for Bryce who
arrived about 8:30 to join us for dinner.
The rest of the week was spent sleeping in, skiing all
day, home for the hot tub, a warm dinner then games
or a movie or both. Not a bad schedule.
Christmas Eve was the best day of skiing with
limited numbers of people on the slopes.
~Christmas Day 2011~
After a morning to sleep in we began our Christmas
phone call at 9am with Elder Kent Engstrom who
is serving in the Czech Republic. We surrounded
the cell phone enjoying every minute we talked!
It was a GREAT conversation we
got to enjoy for an hour!
Breakfast was our traditional Swedish
Pancakes served up by Dad.
Cody had a few minutes to Skype with his
buddy Nash who is living in Budapest, Hungary.
We then had a fun rest of the morning opening up
our Christmas gifts.
I was SO surprised my kids gave me a Kindle!!!
One of my favorite gifts EVER!
Grandma sent up a real "shocking" gift for us all.
It got Cody first round!
Careful now....
Cody got nailed again!!
Nothing like a tube of toothpaste
for a Christmas gift....
The mess is starting to pile up.
YES!!!! A PS3!!!
There's a Madden game waiting for you Kent! :-)
Cody and Tyler checking out one of the new games.
Hanging out and loving it.
Another round of Settlers.
Cody and Bryce having their turn at some PS3 time.
Bryce talked Chandra and me into some Madden
Football with him and Tyler.
Later Jim jumped in and had more success than me.
Some fun ski pics in Breckenridge.

We will definitely have a return trip or two
