Golf Day Buddies at Castle Pine Country Club~

After Jim's morning meeting with his boss John,
he and I took a cart out and played some holes.
Despite the breeze, and a few big gusts of wind, we
had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the scenery.
We even had an owl fly over with a mouse in its beak
and land on a tree near us to eat his meal.  The only
downside to the day was sometimes having to walk
around the deer and Elk poop on the greens.  Kinda
reminded me of our family walking the streets of Italy.
Ha!
Enjoy the views as we golfed.  They are amazing!

I wanta come back and sit in the conference room,
and see if I can spot a Bobcat trotting by the windows,
or an Elk pawing his hoof at me like Jim got to see.

"Birthday Gift" Girls~

So, this is another lovely gift I received for my birthday,
it has a fun story to it.
So when I visit Kris in California I have the fun opportunity
of going on some walks with her and her friend Jackie.
Jackie is a member of Kris's ward, she has a little cute dog
named Bing, which I like to call"Bing-aBang-aBong" Ha!
Another fun thing about Jackie is that she and her husband
are from England and have sweet British accents. They have
lived in the states for several years now.  The last time I was in
Cali Jackie shared a jar of her home grown blackberries that she
also canned.  It was delicious and we made quick work of it.
Well, we have something in common that we just realized about
one another.  Her gift arrived in this paper wrapping that I love
because it makes me think of Europe!  It contained beautiful
Argentina yarn in a darling fabric bag.  So, so cute! The card was
hilarious.  If I can look as good, and be as limber, as this old lady
in my old age I'll be thrilled.  Jackie's card was the most surprising
and fun.  In it she says:
"Coreen, Happy Birthday Have a great Day!
From one birthday girl born on her Mother's 21st
birthday to another!  Much love, Jackie X"
WOW!!!
What a coincidence!  Who would of thought our friendship
would share such a unique event in our lives. What a fun thing!
Now I just need to figure out what to make with this
beautiful Artesian yarn she gave me!!!
