Sweet Little Packages~

Chandra looks SO cute!!!
She is 7 months along with her sweet, little girl.

That's my sweet, little granddaughter in there!!!
I felt her kicking all weekend, but the BEST times
were twice when I got hugs both times from Chandra
and right as we hugged she kicked us both!
It was so FUN!

I was so happy that Chandra loved the gifts I made for her!
The burp cloths and blankets I learned how to crochet the edges of
are already appreciated and loved.  The cover ups I made were
well received also.  I loved every minute I spend making these
gifts for Chandra and look forward to making more sweet things.
But I mostly love my daughter and am so grateful I have her in my life!
I am truly blessed!

Finally!! SNOW!!!~

Of COURSE it would snow the weekend Chandra came!
But she loved it and had to be out in it.
Jim said it was a good thing too, we don't want
our granddaughter to not know about snow! ;-)

We got about 12 inches of snow!
Jim and Cody had their work cut out for them after
getting home from Stake Conference.

Another Milestone~

Another good reason for Bryce and Jessie's visit this
weekend was for them to be there for Cody being
ordained an Elder in the Melchizedek Priesthood.
Jim, his Dad, ordained Cody and it was a very touching and
emotional ordination, Cody was blessed with some specific and
helpful counsel.  Those who assisted were his brother Bryce,
Uncle Kirk, Brother Lewis-who's known Cody since he was 5,
Bishop Reed-who's known Cody since he was 7, President Williams-
who's known Cody since Cody was 11 as Cody's Webelo's Leader, and
Brother Bodine our high council ward member.

A Baby GIRL Shower!~

My sweet friend Kim offered to give Chandra
a baby shower!  We had so much fun!
It was perfect!

Here is Chandra's Aunt Kendra and friend Kim Moroze.

 Game time!
I didn't win any, but that's okay I get to be the new GRANDMA!!!

 There's my cute daughters!

So many sweet friends came to celebrate Chandra's new baby!
We are so blessed!

 Homemade gifts from me!!
And Chandra loved them!

Kim was so sweet and got Chandra her crib set,
it is the CUTEST thing!!!

 A tutu from Kammie-of course! :-)

 Look at this loot!!

It's like Christmas!
How fun for Chandra and Tyler!

Another Missionary to Celebrate~

Jim, Cody and I drove over to Provo, Utah for the
President's Day weekend to attend our nephew's mission
farewell as well as spend some quality time with
Bryce and Jessie.
Cody's cousin Bryan Engstrom has been
called to the Canada, Calgary Mission
reporting to the Provo MTC in February.
(Bryan showing a little tippy toe action....)

The usual game of Settler's was played.
We really did see Bryce and Jessie too, here they
are at the table in the middle of a Settler's game.

Cody may be a lot taller than Bryan but Bryan
is definitely able to "throw" Cody's weight around,
even with a few extra cute girls on board!

With Cody across his shoulders and Chloe and Autumn
hanging off the sides Bryan is the man!

Here's the Bob and Kelly Engstrom family BEFORE
Bryan's mission, it will look a bit different AFTER
the mission once their new little son arrives!

Our last night playing Settler's, until the visit!

Cody's Going WHERE???~

Cody received his mission call, one day later
than he planned, he was very put out!
But it finally arrived on Friday, February 15, 2013!!

Cody announced via face book and email that he would
be opening his call that evening on Friday at 6:30 p.m.

Besides having Bryce, Jessie, Chandra, Tyler, and the
Chandler family on video Cody had about 30 people
standing in the kitchen to watch him open his call.

 The envelope please!!!

 BRAZIL!!!!
Cody is AMAZED he is going to the Brazil Terisina mission!
He reports to the Brazil Mission Training Center on June 12!

 It's pretty amazing!!!!

When I hugged Cody right after he opened his call
he was trembling so much!  It was amazing the
adrenaline and enthusiasm he was feeling!!!

There is the official letter for Codys mission call!

Checking out the map for Cody's mission area.

Grandpa Chandler's Funeral~

~Wyatt Byron Chandler, known as Barney~
~Born December , 1917~
~Died January , 2013~

Following a service where we shared stories we
remembered of Grandpa there was time to hug his
living Children and his wife.

A fun poster full of family photos.

This is one that truly catches some of Grandpa's fun character!

Grandson's and a son-in-law were the palm bearers.

A moment with a memorial trumpet performance.

Grandma totally knew me when she saw me and
wanted to keep hugging me with her left arm,
it was wonderful to get hugs from her!

She was happy to see Kendra and Kyle as well.
