Athens, Greece-Day Six~

We enjoyed our last morning at our hotel before
departing for Athens.

This is one of the pretty flowers from the cactus
that surround our hotel pool and breakfast area.

The hotel pool.  Too cold for me!

As we left our hostess gave us a sweet ceramic
replica of the island cities that can be lit up by a
tea light to remember the beautiful city at night.

One last walk through Oia during the day.

We took a high speed ferry back to Athens.
I guess a 5 hour ride is better than a 9 hour ride.

Once back in Athens, the first order of business
was to go visit the Acropolis above the city.

 An arena for Athena.

 Oh look Cody, a cave!!!

"Hmm, I wonder what's in there???"
"Cody, you go in and check it out."

 "Okay Bryce!"
"Hey this is cool!"

"And nothing bit me or anything!"
"Cool!"

 "The Parthenon."

 "Don't lean on that Bryce!!!"

Bryce made some new Russian friends!

Paul the Apostle, preached on this mount below the Parthenon.

Coreen's ready for the souvenir shopping in Athens!
Greece!  Great history, great islands, great salads!
