Our Birthday Missionary!~

Here is our Missionary in the MTC!!

Elder Engstrom wanted us to see that he was

having a great start to his birthday weekend.

It was sent to us on Friday, April 1.

A box of cupcakes and a soda.  Way "sweet!"

Chandra later dropped off an April Fool's package

for Kent.  But it will be followed two days 

later with a great birthday gift. 

Gotta have a little fun with the guy!

A Day in The Eifel~

Some of us friends from the church ward enjoyed 

going on a day outing to the beautiful Eifel area.

This region was shaped 10,00 years ago by volcanic

activity that left behind beautiful lakes surrounded

later by dense forests that now offer a variety of 

nature activities drawing many visitors.

There is also a Formula 1 race track in one of the

upper highland areas-a very popular sport here.

With the area being so touristy you can find an 

occassional store to enjoy shopping in.  Ingrid

arranged a day to drive here and see a favorite shop

she comes to a few times during the year.

 After our shopping stop we enjoyed lunch in a 

nearby village.  I was excited to hear some other

costumers enter who were speaking ENGLISH!

The area is frequented by people all over the world

who are here to see and use the race track.
