Well, too bad I am not living here one more year-at LEAST!!
Cause I coulda had some really fun times with a new friend,
and woulda really liked to have more time with her, and
we shoulda known each other sooner!
Maiya and her family just moved into the Bonn Ward.
She is from the U.S. and her husband is from Germany.
They have three children and their family has just moved here
from Northern Germany. Maiya has only been here a few weeks
and I have enjoyed showing her around Bad Godesberg and Bonn.
One of our latest activities was taking Maiya and
her son Tom to the pottery village close by our
home to see the local traditional Germany pottery.
After a few sight seeing visits, the last couple of years,
I finally decided on this candle holder to take home with
me as a souvineer from this town. The interesting thing
about the ball shape is that the man who owned the shop
said he was the first to create the round candle mold that is
now sold throughout the town, I've already enjoyed using it.
