Skiing and Chillin!

Christmas Day Skiing!
Jessie, Jim, Tyler, Kent, Mom,
Bryce taking the photo.
Chandra and Avery at the condo.
We got a half day of skiing in before
going home to Skype with Elder Cody Engstrom!
That was the BEST part of Christmas by far!
I wish I had a photo of all of us huddled around
the computer skyping with Cody.  It was wonderful
to hear his voice and see him smile so, so big!
It made my heart swell with happiness!
We all loved and appreciated hearing his testimony
in Portuguese.  We are blessed with a wonderful son.

More ski fun during our week.
Jim and Tyler.

On the mountain top, one of my favorite runs of the week.
Me, Bryce, Kent, Tyler, Chandra.
Jim's taking the photo.
Jessie and Avery are at the condo.

Hanging out with her Uncle Kent

 and Uncle Brye.
Kent won this round of Settler's.

We have a video of Avery using these as
walking sticks so we all wouldn't have to
bend over so far to help Avery walk around,
it didn't last too long.

Hot tubbin' for those that were sore...

Avery and Grandma on the sidelines.

First Christmas Eve for Little Miss Avery~

While everyone was off skiing those
beautiful Colorado mountains...
...this is what I got to stay in the Condo and enjoy, :)
although I was a bit envious of the amazing snow
fall everyone skied the first two days at Vail.

 CHRISTMAS EVE!
Avery's opening her first little gift,
or pretending to, Dad had to push it along.

" Look Avery, Reindeer jammies!"
"Don't care, I'm checking out these mittens,
that I will soon dislike."

Avery did the test taste on the cookies
left out for Santa's visit!
Too bad she has no teeth to really give an informed opinion.

Cookies to coax little miss Avery to crawl...

...she inched her way over by her belly and
a bit of scoochin.
She finally started crawling,
the day after she left Colorado.

Avery was impressed with her efforts.
Clap everyone!

She was easily distracted by her Reindeer toes.

She found some new little friends :)

Avery's Here-Now the 2013 Holiday's Begin!~

Cute little Avery arrived for
Christmas in Colorado!
I'm one happy Grandma, but Avery's
still trying to figure me out...
Although my heart did melt when she
saw me the first time and broke into
a sweet little smile while cuddled in
her mommy's neck.  LOVED IT-
and thank you to Face time!!!  Haha!

Fun being TWINNERS with our Sperry's! :)

Avery's busy getting her paperwork done.

 Cuddle's with Grandpa.

Doin a load of laundry...

Lissie~

Jim and I attended the "Lissie" concert.
She is a newer artist, on Jim's list, he is beginning to
listen too.  She had some good songs even though there
was some stronger rock music that Jim didn't realize
she played, I guess that's part of the learning curve.
He's still a fan.

Christmas is Coming!~

It's starting to look a lot like Christmas,
 every where we go!

Our "forest" waiting to be put outside.

"Let it Snow" says our little Penguin.

Thanksgiving With a Lone Child, Again~

I was cookin' and slavin' in the kitchen all
the day long while my men played and
watched football to their hearts content.
And I was happy.
Although I did miss my pie making
assistants this year.  Nope I didn't
give the apple peel to the rabbits-
cause I'm mean like that ;)

Kent's first Thanksgiving back in the U.S.
He "got to" eat off the "You are special"
plate since it was his first Thanksgiving home.

Friday morning was spent at the Denver Temple.
Kent baptized and confirmed Shane for their Grandpa Tucker.

Grandma with two of her Grandsons
Kent, Grandma, Shane

After our Temple event we dove to Dad's Club
to eat a delicious meal and enjoy the sight.

 Swing!!!!!!!!

One last hole before it gets too dark.

I'm always happy to be feeing my boys~
~HAPPY THANKSGIVING~
Blessings abound in our family!!!

Toilet Time~

Kinda weird to post about our toilets,
but this post is "special."
Three of our four toilets were having "issues."

So "we" decided, Jim thinks he didn't have
a say in this, to replace all three of the toilets-
in ONE DAY!!!!

And it certainly took Jim a whole Saturday
to install them all.
Don't they look great?!!!
Jim's "The MAN."

Golf Day Buddies at Castle Pine Country Club~

After Jim's morning meeting with his boss John,
he and I took a cart out and played some holes.
Despite the breeze, and a few big gusts of wind, we
had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the scenery.
We even had an owl fly over with a mouse in its beak
and land on a tree near us to eat his meal.  The only
downside to the day was sometimes having to walk
around the deer and Elk poop on the greens.  Kinda
reminded me of our family walking the streets of Italy.
Ha!
Enjoy the views as we golfed.  They are amazing!

I wanta come back and sit in the conference room,
and see if I can spot a Bobcat trotting by the windows,
or an Elk pawing his hoof at me like Jim got to see.
