Out With The Old, In With The New~

So, after 28 years of marriage we have a new kitchen table!!!

 We inherited our first kitchen table from Jim's parents

when Bryce was 2 years old and we were expecting

Chandra within 2 weeks.  This is the table Jim used 

when he was a boy and now we are sending it on to

Bryce and Jessie to use for their first table as newlyweds.

 We found a new table we are really excited to have in
our home to enjoy meals at, play games on, and of course
to enjoy fun and stimulating conversations around!

 Happily it will accommodate our growing family

over the next several years.

Just beautiful!!!

Muzzle Caught In The "Cookie Jar"~

I finished off my DQ Mini Blizzard and decided to

let Rue lick the bottom of the cup.

She was thrilled!

 Except she couldn't really open her mouth to lick

down at the bottom of the cup.

At one point she lifted her head, with the cup stuck

on her muzzle, and looked at me as if to say,

"Help!"

I laughed SO hard!!

 She walked over to lay on the grass and get

a better grip on things. :)

GOLDEN BIRTHDAY For BRYCE!!!~

Jim and I made a trip over to Utah this past weekend

for several reasons...

 The most important one was to celebrate Bryce's 

"Golden Birthday" with him and Jessie.

What a blessing it was to have Bryce join our

family 27 years ago!!!

 We celebrated several times in 3 days. :-)

A delicious dinner at a 

Native American Southwest Restaurant on Friday.

Brunch Saturday at the "Original Pancake House."

Pizza and brownies at Bob and Kelly's.

And a home cooked breakfast by Jim Sunday Morning.

I guess it's all about the food! :-)

Living On His Own? Really???~

Cody received another award.

Cody's "Living On Your Own" Teacher recognized

his class accomplishments.

Hopefully he will remember all he learned 

when he really does have to live on his own!!

Colorado State Swimming and Diving Meet

 We brought along Rue to cheer for Cody!

Keeping her distracted kept us busy.

The key was to get her to take her naps while

Cody was actually competing and it worked.

 Bryce and Jessie drove over from Provo, Utah

to support Cody at his big state meet.

 Chandra flew in from Galveston, Texas

to be here for Cody!

And maybe to meet Rue!
